Everything was delicious! We door dashed this and it came pretty fast. It was still hot, and fresh! Couldn't tell you anything else about the restaurant considering we ate at home.

I am amazed with the heart they pour into making their food. My husband and I tried the main 2 types of rice with chicken/beef plus plantains. Neither of us had ever tried African cuisine before and were blown away. It's as good as great Italian or Greek food, yet so hearty and rich, you would think it was southern comfort food. Whomever the lady was that drove her car into the hotdog shop that was there before, THANK YOU! I hope you are okay and I appreciate you setting into motion the establishment of House of Jollof. (Story my husband told me). The service was as outstanding as the food. Thank you for a new, memorable experience. This is a place we will most definitely be frequenting for as long as possible.

Had a fantastic lunch at The House of Jollof! Their jollof rice, the star of the show, was incredibly flavorful. I especially enjoyed it with a piece of fish and a side of flavorful veggies. They also offer a variety of other dishes, so there's something for everyone. Overall, a nice experience with friendly service.

Everything about House of Jollof was amazing. I've had egusi before, but I wasn't prepared for how good and flavorful the egusi here would be. My husband got the peanut stew with oxtail and we both kept switching dishes because we couldn't get enough of either. Even the fried plantains, which came out piping hot, fresh out of the fryer, were the best I've ever eaten. The hot level of spice was the right amount to pack a punch and also still be able to enjoy the other flavors. Everyone who worked here was so welcoming and friendly, especially Daniel (I think that was his name). Even the regular customers were super friendly and asked us how we liked our meals. The dining area was very clean and we enjoyed the music videos that were playing in the background.

I am from Southern Africa and Jollof rice is not a thing. This is the best jollof rice I have ever had in St. Louis! It was really flavorful, not dry and the level of spicy was just how I like (we are not big on hot spices in the South of Africa). The chicken was cooked exceptionally good, juicy and I almost chewed the bones (I chewed the knuckles though, it's weird to some of you). You can tell I loved every bit of it because the plate is clean (you are welcome busser!) The staff was friendly, but not really chatty ( I have mixed feelings about that)! Service was really good. The place is kept clean and they play Afrobeats which is kinda nice as you don't really hear this music quite often (gives the homely vibe). It is a bit of a drive! Hopefully they will open a spot in Downtown or Midtown! Highly recommend!

This place smells like heaven I think lol. I was greeted immediately upon walking in. The guy behind the counter was very well spoken He asked if it was my first time there. I replied yes. He then begin to give me food recommendations which helped me out tremendously. I decided to go with the jolloff rice and the Sukuma Wiki (greens)... He went back to the back and came back with food samples for me to try after I placed my order. That was a good strategy because now I most certainly have to go back for what he let me try out. Over all I can say the food is great, and the customer service was awesome. I must mention also that the inside was very clean as well.

Pretty tasty. Rice was flavorful and moist. Side sauce was savory. Goat was fall apart tender and well prepared. However, for the additional price it seemed that there wasn't a whole lot of meat.
